Job Description:

What you'll do:

• Design and develop automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, Postman, and other automation frameworks.

• Design test cases from stories/requirements that cover all the basic, alternate, and exception scenarios to deliver a high-quality product.

• Plan and implement functional and end-to-end tests that will work at UI and API.

• Maintain and keep the existing test cases updated.

• Participate in technical design reviews and share feedback

• Understand production environment issues, verify fixes, build test automation, and track them to closure.

• Gain an understanding of the product ecosystem and integration of the product with external systems. Use this knowledge to improve product quality and increase test coverage through automation.

• Continuously suggest about ways to develop maintainable and scalable test automation systems.

• Develop or exhibit a quality first mindset

• Drive continuous improvement of the testing process.

• Test functionality, write thoughtful manual and automated test cases, and use your programming skills to implement automation.

• Prevent defect leaks for areas of ownership.

• Understand the product on the whole and will work with both internal and external teams to understand and reproduce Customer Issues and configurations.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of the code.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and tools.

You should have:

• 2+ years of QA experience

• Hands-on experience in test automation and scripting tools like Cypress and Selenium.

• Working experience with relational databases like (Oracle/SQLServer/snowflake etc) would be a plus.

• Experience in working with API testing.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and ability to test APIs using Postman or similar tools.

• Experience in doing non-functional testing like usability and performance testing.

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle.

• Passionate about product testing.
