In this role, you will own the sales operations for BetterUp’s go-to-market motion. You will be responsible for driving sales efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales teams and various departments within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company as we continue to expand our market presence.

What you’ll do:

  • Sales Processes - Manage and implement end-to-end sales processes and policies
  • Salesforce Management - Drive the implementation and utilization of sales technologies and tools to improve sales efficiency, sales automation, and analytics platforms
  • Strategic Thinking - Proactively identify and execute strategies with foresight, anticipating potential challenges, and staying ahead of the curve.
  • Territory Planning - Develop territory planning strategies to optimize sales coverage, ensure balanced workload distribution, and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Sales Compensation - Own and enhance the sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and motivating the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Analysis & Communication - Develop and deliver regular sales reports and dashboards to provide visibility into sales performance, track key metrics, and identify trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner on cross-functional initiatives with teams including: sales, finance, customer success, account management, and product. Ensure seamless coordination and alignment of work across the organization

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 12+ years experience, with background in sales operations and startups
  • Proven track record of success in optimizing sales processes, increasing operational efficiency, and driving revenue growth
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies, Salesforce, and sales analytics tools
  • Strong project management and cross-functional skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Bias toward action. Ability to identify the job to be done and work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Work to learn. Ability to see challenges as opportunities to learn and quickly get to a level of knowledge that allows you to create progress.
  • Craftpersonship. Ability to see projects to completion and hold projects to high quality bar
  • Organize to win. Ability to step up to lead cross-functional co-creation and step back to support

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this role is $188,000 – $330,000.

If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is:
$220,000 – $ 330,000 : New York City
$208,000– $312,000 : Nassau, Newburgh
$188,000 – $282,000 : Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse
