About the Role
As a Principal Product Designer for Data Experience, you will be a product design pioneer in delivering end-to-end experiences connecting data, metrics, and insights to the needs of business people. You’ll partner with product managers and engineers around the world to lead design efforts across multiple initiatives to shape how our systems capture and model revenue data and how to effectively surface key metrics and insights to end users whose day-to-day relies on revenue information. This role requires business and technical understanding and an ability to quickly grasp how data and insights serve our customers’ revenue processes. You’ll be responsible for the design and outcomes of cross-functional initiatives such as data models and management, contributing to a data visualization design system, and unifying analytical capabilities with or without AI. We are seeking an experienced designer with a portfolio of B2B SaaS products to showcase demonstrated abilities to transform data to usable and actionable insights, and help our customers manage, secure, and govern their revenue data.
This is a fully remote opportunity but is preferred to be worked from the Central or East time zone.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to establish a shared vision for managing revenue data, leveraging AI capabilities, and integrating insights into our products to support our customers’ revenue processes
- Identify complex design challenges at the interaction of data and business needs, propose groundbreaking solutions, and push the boundaries of what's possible through visionary thinking, creativity, and experimentation
- Transform the technical complexities of data models, data types, permissions, and the data ecosystem into digestible, timely insights that business users can act on
- Articulate jobs-to-be done for multiple personas and drive solutions to meet their needs and outcomes
- Anticipate and define new UX metrics to measure the quality of experiences across products and platforms
- Ship quality features in Agile development environments to deliver continuous value to our business users
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software design experience, including at least 6+ years of designing B2B SaaS products
- Extensive experience in data-heavy or analytical products that serve the needs of business people and teams
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional design initiatives in a B2B SaaS environment
- Expert understanding of SaaS principles, business models, market dynamics, business user personas, and the competitive landscape to anticipate needs and create innovative solutions addressing the unique challenges of SaaS and revenue users
- Mastery in UI design, interaction design, and information architecture, with a strong understanding of designing for various devices and platforms
- Mastery of systematizing visual and UI elements such as typography, colors, iconography, interactions, patterns, and branding to ensure UI consistency and familiarity
- Demonstrated track record of delivering transformative design solutions that drive significant business impact, enhance user satisfaction, and differentiate the company's products in the market
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and advanced prototyping techniques
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels

It is Clari’s intent to pay all Clarians competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair, and equitable. The goal of Clari’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees and encourage employees to stay and grow at Clari.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $240,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
