Cohesity, a recognized leader in data security and management, is looking for a rockstar Events Program Manager to support the end-to-end events management and strategy for the US Public Sector (federal and state, local, and education industries). As part of our Americas Field Marketing team, you will assist the US public sector sales teams execute event campaigns that drive demand, raise awareness, and support pipeline growth efforts. As a key part of our collaborative, high-performing team, you’ll work closely with your peers to deliver regional marketing activities flawlessly reporting to the Manager, Public Sector.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
Own the end-to-end management and execution of multi-channel public sector event campaigns
Help coordinate industry events, workshops, and webinars to engage key decision-makers and other special projects to help accelerate the public sector pipeline
Unify processes across regional marketing teams to scale programs and drive operational efficiencies effectively
Manage procurement processes, including opening purchase requisitions and onboarding/owning vendor relationships and owning the events budget
Track and report on key performance metrics to help evaluate the success of campaigns
Assist with account mapping and lead management and ensure strong ROI from event activities
Ensure timely follow-up by the sales team on leads generated from event programs
Support the development and optimization of content for event campaigns
Provide logistical and on-site support for marketing programs and events (travel required 20-40%)
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
5+ years of experience in a marketing or event support role, preferably in a technology company
Strong interest in marketing, technology, and AI-powered solutions
Extensive experience in the public sector and healthcare, with a strong understanding of key industry events and key vendor relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects and execute tasks with attention to detail
End-to-end event management experience with budgeting and multi-channel campaign experience
Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks with a positive, proactive attitude
Self-motivated, innovative, multi-tasker with strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
Demonstrates grit and resilience in adapting to change, pivoting strategies when needed, and thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
Strong team player with a positive attitude, desire to collaborate and share best practices
Experience with sales and marketing automation systems – Salesforce, Marketo, Splash, Microsoft Office, Tableau, event management tool experience is preferred
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.
