The Physical Security Systems Specialist is responsible for leading global physical security technology projects, maintaining project tracking tools, coordinating cross-functional teams, troubleshooting systems like Avigilon, providing technical support, and managing vendor relationships.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Lead tracking and coordination of global physical security systems/technology projects (deployments, upgrades, migrations, integrations, pilots) in support of the Program Manager.
Maintain and own program tracking artifacts: master project tracker, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery dates across regions.
Drive project cadence: prepare agendas, run working sessions as needed, capture decisions, and track action items to closure.
Manage project reporting: weekly/monthly status updates and leadership-ready dashboards/metrics.
Coordinate cross-functionally (Facilities, IT, regional security, integrators, business partners) to remove blockers and keep initiatives on track.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and incident response for physical security systems (video, access control, alarms, integrations), including occasional off-hours support as needed.
Monitor system health, performance, and uptime; identify trends and proactively drive remediation with vendors/internal partners.
Troubleshoot Avigilon including VMS/camera issues, recording/retention, alerts, user/access problems, and basic configuration changes.
Serve as first-level technical support: triage requests, document resolutions, escalate appropriately, and ensure timely closure with clear communications.
Support vendor performance and lifecycle needs (tickets, maintenance, renewals) and contribute to operational KPIs and continuous improvement of standards/processes.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant discipline (e.g., security systems integration, physical security, electrical engineering, criminal justice, or similar).
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems and/or security technology programs (non-entry-level).
Strong troubleshooting skills with video management and/or access control platforms; able to triage issues and work effectively with integrators and internal teams.

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making
Preferred experience:
