Cohesity is looking for expert Data Management professionals who have a solid background in data protection implementation and operations to help us roll out the future of Data Management as a Service (DMaas). You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and highly skilled team, collaborating closely with customers to successfully implement our solution. This role requires maintaining a high operational tempo, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations during migration from legacy strategies to Cohesity DMaaS.


This role will perform both implementation and operational tasks. Crucial technical skills for the role include proficiency in networking, virtualization, cloud services and data protection strategies. Routine tasks include customer facing communications, documentation and knowledge transfer. As part of the Advanced Services Team, your role will be the customer facing and high quality customer service experience, eye for business, and excellent communication skills are required.


HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE :

  • Deliver Professional Services to Cohesity customers
  • Onboard customers to Cohesity’s DMaaS offering
  • Migrate customers from their legacy systems to Cohesity DMaaS.
  • Complete installations in a timely manner while maintaining premier Customer Satisfaction.
  • Develop remediation and action plans when necessary.
  • Write and validate the implementation/integration standard methodologies.
  • Build knowledge base articles for design and deployment tips.
  • Develop pre-installation survey and planning documents to prepare for install.
  • Develop workflows to validate implementations.
  • Develop sample post-deployment documentation (run books, pre-deployment templates, etc.).
  • Conduct beta testing of procedures for new offerings in the field.
  • Provide feedback to engineering on ways to improve the implementation experience.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer with customers.
  • Assist in training the field during new product introductions.
  • Conduct webinars for introductory and ongoing training.


WE'D LOVE TO TALK IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in these technical areas: Virtualization - VMware or Hyper-V, Databases - SQL or Oracle,Physical Servers - Windows and Linux, Basic TCP/IP Networking – IPv4, DNS, Firewalls, Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams).
  • Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
  • Network Attached Storage (Isilon, NetApp, Generic NAS).
  • Scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Automation using REST API.
  • Experience with Technical drawings using Visio or equivalent application.
  • The ability to lead projects to launch.
  • Advanced management and project-related skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent organization and extraordinary interpersonal skills.
