Role Description:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, planning and delivery of our AI-powered, edge-deployed product line. You will collaborate with a talented team, stay at the forefront of industry trends, and help bring next-level capabilities to Mission Heroes (customers). You will own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation, ensuring alignment with both customer needs and company objectives. This role requires a unique blend of collaboration across business segments, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of embedded systems. You will be responsible for facilitating a cross-functional team of engineering, design, and marketing experts to deliver a platform that enables accelerated innovation within mission-critical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the vision and product strategy for a new product line, driving growth and innovation, and ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs
  • Own the product roadmap, bringing together market needs, customer feedback, technology research, architecture and engineering into a cohesive plan to drive the business
  • Work closely with a Product Designer to architect and design an intuitive platform that meets the unique needs of defense personnel and contractors
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand capabilities, needs and preferences
  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans to effectively launch and promote solutions in the market
  • Present product updates and strategic insights in customer-facing engagements, ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop business cases for investments, including new features, extensions, and products
  • Monitor and optimize product financials and track usage and adoption key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sustainable profitability and growth

Travel Expectations/Requirements: 5-15%

Location Expectations: Hybrid 3 days in the office in Phoenix, Arizona

The listed responsibilities are not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the evolving needs of the organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and take on new responsibilities as they arise.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated product management experience in the following areas:
    • 5+ years in embedded electronic systems (hardware and software) product management
    • Translating business strategy into product strategy
    • Establishing and maintaining product roadmaps
    • Creating and managing product requirements for Engineering
    • Executing product launches and sales enablement campaigns
    • Performing competitive analysis and providing inputs to marketing on product differentiation
    • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues


Amazing To Haves

  • Product Management certification (e.g., Pragmatic or other)
  • Technical background in embedded hardware or software development
  • Experience with and empathy for the National Security mission and challenges faced in delivering solutions that drive mission capabilities

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience. Compensation ranges are established using national benchmarking data and apply across all geographic locations within the United States.
