Responsibilities

  • ● Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance that have particular impact across your team.
  • ● Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
  • ● Experience with performance and optimization problems, particularly at large
    scale, and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
  • ● Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and
    best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for
    these standards through code review.
  • ● Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best
    practices for a high-scale web environment.

Job requirements

  • ● At Least 4 years of experience working in software development with minimum 2 years of working experience in Golang or Python.
  • ● At Least 2 years of work experience in FIX protocol in production applications.
  • ● Familiarity with modern web technologies like AWS cloud, MySQL database, Redis caching, messaging tools like Kafka/SQS etc
  • ● Comfort working in a highly agile, intensively iterative software development process.
  • ● Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
  • ● Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization long-term

Bonus Criteria

  • ● Candidates with a strong computer science background. Bachelor's degree in computer science from IIT/NIT or equivalent institutes will be preferred
  • ● Experience working in an early stage product startups
