We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Product Owner to join our Business Systems Team. As the Business Systems Product Owner, you will be responsible for the overall success of our Salesforce implementation and continuous improvement of the platform to meet the evolving needs of our organization. You will also be responsible for the ecosystem of Sales tools that surround Salesforce. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, and business users to define, prioritize, and deliver Salesforce solutions that drive business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Product Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related initiatives and act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce capabilities, best practices, and industry trends. Take ownership of the Salesforce platform, its features, and its value to the organization.
  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify gaps in current processes, and translate requirements into Salesforce solutions. Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of business processes to drive effective system design.
  • Roadmap and Release Planning: Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for Salesforce enhancements and releases, considering business priorities, user needs, and technical feasibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and schedule development efforts.
  • User Story Development: Create and manage user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that effectively communicate business requirements to development teams. Work closely with Agile teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of features and functionality.
  • Salesforce Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business requirements using declarative tools such as workflows, process builder, validation rules, and custom objects. Collaborate with developers to design and implement customizations when necessary.
  • User Adoption and Training: Drive user adoption of Salesforce by providing training and support to end users. Develop and deliver training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing guidance to ensure effective utilization of the Salesforce platform.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions. Address issues and defects in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather feedback, prioritize initiatives, and align Salesforce solutions with business goals. Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Product Owner.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant are highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce capabilities, configuration, and customization options.
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in training end users and driving user adoption of Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, data management, and security standards.

The base pay range for this position is $170,000 - $200,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary. FloQast values our Total Rewards, and offers a competitive and elaborate Benefits Package including, but not limited to, Medical, Dental, Vision, Family Forming benefits, Life & Disability Insurance, Unlimited Vacation, and participation in our Employee Stock Program. FloQast reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
