We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect to join our Business Systems team. As the Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ solutions that streamline our sales processes and drive revenue growth. You will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to deliver comprehensive and scalable Salesforce and CPQ solutions tailored to our organization's needs.

What You'll Do:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, sales processes, and pricing strategies. Design scalable and efficient Salesforce and CPQ solutions that align with business goals and best practices. Leverage your expertise in Salesforce and CPQ to architect solutions that optimize sales, quoting, pricing, and contract management processes.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during the implementation and support of Salesforce and CPQ solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices. Review and provide feedback on technical design documents and development deliverables.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure Salesforce and CPQ using out-of-the-box features and functionalities to meet business requirements. Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful development of Apex code and integration of CPQ with other Salesforce modules and third-party systems.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze current sales processes and identify areas for improvement. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Conduct workshops and interviews to understand user needs, pain points, and process bottlenecks. Translate business requirements into Salesforce and CPQ solution designs.
- Data Modeling and Integration: Design data models and data integration strategies to ensure smooth flow of information between Salesforce and other systems, such as CRM, ERP, and billing platforms. Collaborate with integration specialists to implement robust and scalable data integration solutions.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of Salesforce CPQ solutions. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Address and resolve issues and defects in a timely manner.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including sales teams, pricing analysts, and executives, to gather feedback, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce, CPQ features, releases, and industry best practices. Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend enhancements to existing CPQ solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and user adoption.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect or a similar role.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect are highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, configuration, and customization options.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, discounting rules, and contract management within Salesforce CPQ.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end Salesforce CPQ solutions.
- Understanding of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development languages.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce modules and external systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

The base pay range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
