FloQast is looking for a motivated Software Engineer that will play a key contributor role in shipping high impact features. This individual will help identify product and engineering opportunities that will delight our customers and build solutions that exceed their quality expectations. The right candidate should be highly motivated to build, test and deploy features and solicit feedback from stakeholders in a pre-product market fit or fast-paced startup environment. You will work closely with your team, sales, and our customers to define, prioritize, and build new features.

What You'll Do

  • Build high quality, user focused experiences from the ground up with React, NodeJS, and MongoDB
  • Leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, Lambda, and Step Functions to get features to market quickly and efficiently
  • Collaborate on our technical vision. Participate or lead discussions and implementation on multiple complex projects
  • Continuously act on our customers’ product feedback, data, and growth needs to epitomize an agile environment by always working on the most important things
  • Continuously improve our engineering process, tools, and systems to increase the team's ability to do more with less
  • Fully own or pair on vertically sliced features through the full SDLC including code review, deployments, and production support of our applications and external API

What You'll Bring

  • 1-3 years of professional full stack experience doing web app development, RESTful API design, or data modeling
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and React, NodeJS, or MongoDB. Being able to think and develop in their patterns and practices. The more the better.
  • Track record of shipping high-quality products and features to customers, and developing projects at scale
  • Ability to quickly turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
  • Motivation to take a product to market, solving customer problems, and mastering your craft through the growth of the business

  • Have taken a product from 0 to 1
  • B2B SaaS experience
  • Practice TDD, BDD, or use of code coverage

This job posting is for our Software Engineer II level, the base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary. FloQast values our Total Rewards, and offers a competitive and elaborate Benefits Package including, but not limited to, Medical, Dental, Vision, Family Forming benefits, Life & Disability Insurance, Unlimited Vacation, and participation in our Employee Stock Program. FloQast reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time.
