Enterprise Account Executive (USA)

This position is based in the US; we're looking for DevOps or DevSecOps experienced Enterprise AEs on the West Coast and East Coast.

GitGuardian is a global post series B ($56M) cybersecurity scale up, with investors that include top-tier VC firms. We’re the global leaders in secrets detection technology. Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Docker co-founder / CTO Solomon Hykes 👀

Leaked secrets have been the source of countless hacks, and we are helping many of our customers avoid leakage in different code repositories and other internal systems. Our solutions are used by more than 500K developers across the world, are ranked the most popular AppSec tool on Github and are the easiest SAST software to use on G2.

Our typical customers are companies with hundreds / thousands of developers that are leveraging hundreds of services like SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, or internal microservices and are mature in DevOps and Cloud adoption. Our prospects and customers are highly technical: Software Development and Ops teams, Application Security, Threat Response, etc.

We're looking for experienced Application Security or DevOps/DevSecOps Account Executives to help usher along our growth. You will work closely with your teams here in the US and in France to drive sales deals to completion.

Your Mission:

    • Identify, engage and build rapport with large Enterprise prospects
    • Evangelize and develop a deep interest in GitGuardian’s growing product line
    • Facilitate the adoption and acquisition of new customers, building a pipeline of Enterprise level accounts across the US
    • Own a full sales cycle in Enterprise environments:
      • Nurture relationships and align multiple stakeholders on large buying teams (from CISOs, CIOs and/or CTOs to Leads in Security, Engineering and on DevOps teams)
      • Frame and launch complex POCs/POVs along with your Sales Engineers
      • Build out proposals and finalize negotiations along with internal and external procurement teams


Who You Are:

    • Demonstrated success as an Enterprise Account Executive in DevOps and/or AppSec environments (this is a requirement for us)
    • Our ideal candidate has proactively worked with extensively nuanced sales cycles and procurement processes
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Terrific attention to detail and follow through
    • Succeeded in driving pipeline generation and hitting your quotas
    • An ability to travel (up to 15%)
