About GitGuardian
GitGuardian is a global post series C cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, New-York and Boston.
Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Solomon Hykes, Docker's co-founder. American and European top-tier VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian.
GitGuardian leads the way in Non-Human Identity security, offering end-to-end solutions from secrets detection in code, productivity tools and environments to strong remediation, observability and proactive prevention of leaks. We’re applying the same ambition internally by building an AI-powered operating model—using agents, automation, and data to run GitGuardian faster and smarter every day.
Our solutions are already used by more than 600K developers worldwide!
About your team and your mission
GitGuardian is a tech company, as such, the engineering department is key to the success of the company. The main challenges we are solving include: scanning various data streams at scale to find secrets in them (scan >10M code patches, messages or images every day), developing our scout component that is deployed on our customers’ infrastructure to securely collect and map non-human identities, integrate ML models and capabilities in our product with an elegant UX. Curious about all the technical problems you'll tackle? Check out our engineering challenges for 2026.
The engineering department is composed of around 10 teams of 3 to 6 developers. Each team is lead by an Engineering Manager and helped by a Product Manager. As an EM, you are responsible for the delivery and the success of your team.
Here are the teams we are hiring for:
Applied AI: the team ships AI features in GitGuardian platform: in-app agent, AI filters, LLM enrichments among others. The team also works on standardizing how AI features are shipped in our platform.
Public Monitoring: GitGuardian has been constantly monitoring several public data sources for exposed credentials. Scanning billions of commits, docker images, packages in real time and assessing their impact is a big challenge. The public monitoring team is responsible of this, in addition to leveraging these leaks for lead generation and to cover our customers with the best perimeter possible.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Lead the team on a daily basis to ensure that the team delivers as expected.
Manage a team of talented software engineers, facilitate their growth and provide challenges that align with their goals.
Make technical decisions with your team to ensure that your features meet GitGuardian’s quality standards.
Manage interactions with other engineering teams and oversee the dependencies between your projects.
Technical environment:
Core Languages: Python with Django, React
Infrastructure: K8S, RabbitMQ, ArgoCD
Data: PostgreSQL, Redis
