Channel Sales Engineer
GitGuardian
Sales & Business Development
United States
Posted on Mar 14, 2026
This position is based in the US as hybrid in either NYC or Boston.
GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up. The company is based in Paris, New-York City, Boston.
Among our early investors who saw our market value proposition, are the co-founder of GitHub, Scott Chacon, along with Solomon Hykes, Docker's co-founder. American and European top-tier VC firms have also invested in GitGuardian.
GitGuardian leads the way in Non-Human Identity security, offering end-to-end solutions from secrets detection in code, productivity tools and environments to strong remediation, observability and proactive prevention of leaks. Our solutions are already used by more than 600K developers worldwide!
We’re looking for a technical Sales Engineer with a background in cybersecurity. Our ideal candidate will work closely with our sales teams, currently distributed between the US and France. Your team will include Americans and Europeans, granting you an international experience with room for growth.
Our typical customers are companies with hundreds / thousands of developers that are leveraging hundreds of services like SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, or internal microservices and are mature in DevOps and Cloud adoption. Our interlocutors are highly technical persons: Software Development and Ops teams, Application Security, Threat Response, etc.
Your Mission
You will be the technical heartbeat of GitGuardian's partner ecosystem, empowering both channel partners and technology alliance partners to successfully position, demonstrate, and sell our platform. You are a trusted enablement resource: equal parts technical expert, relationship builder, and educator who helps partners win by deeply understanding their business models and technical environments.
Objective: to evaluate your skills for the position and project yourself into the role.

- Work closely with Channel Account Managers and Alliance Managers to enable and activate partners, equipping them with the technical knowledge and resources needed to drive pipeline and close deals independently.
- Deliver and scale partner-facing technical enablement: training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs for both reseller/channel partners and technology alliance partners.
- Create and maintain enablement assets including demo guides, reference architectures, lab guides, integration how-tos, battlecards, and FAQs for our partners.
- Support partner-led PoCs and customer opportunities by providing technical guidance, co-delivering demos when needed, and helping partners build replicable demo environments and workflows.
- Architect joint technical solutions and integration use cases with alliance partners, working with GitGuardian's Product and Engineering teams to validate and document them.
- Act as the voice of the partner ecosystem back into GitGuardian; surfacing partner feedback, competitive intelligence, and integration gaps to Product and Marketing.
- Support partner events including booth presence, demos, workshops, and technical sessions.
- Significant experience (4-7+ years) as a technical Sales Engineer or Channel/Alliance SE in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment. This is a must-have.
- Demonstrated experience enabling channel partners (VARs, MSSPs, GSIs) and/or building joint technical solutions with technology alliance partners. We’re specifically looking for a Channel SE who has experience working with Guidepoint Security.
- Solid understanding of the modern SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and the difference between microservices and monolithic architectures with the ability to explain these clearly to both technical and non-technical partner audiences.
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments, both within partner organizations and in joint end-customer engagements.
- Strong project management and program-building skills: you've designed and run enablement programs, not just one-off trainings.
- A partner-first mindset. You understand that your success is measured by how well your partners can sell and support GitGuardian independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt your message for a partner AE, a CISO, or a DevOps engineer.
- Willingness to travel (~30–50%) for partner events, field engagements, and key customer opportunities.
- Video call with a Talent Acquisition team member
- Team interview: Meet the team and/or your future manager
- Business case
Objective: to evaluate your skills for the position and project yourself into the role.
- Final interview with the CEO
