About The Role
Our Product Management team is at the heart of driving innovation, creating user-centric solutions, and ensuring the success of our products. As a Product Management Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and gain hands-on experience in product development. You will join our Product Management team and report to a Senior Product Manager/Director. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management by working on critical projects that contribute to Highspot Products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, user research, and engineering, to tackle complex customer problems and deliver innovative solutions. The internship is designed to give you exposure to the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to launch. You’ll gain valuable experience in defining requirements, analyzing customer feedback, and working closely with industry experts to create real-world coaching tools that empower sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and prioritizing product features, ensuring alignment with customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product marketing, to ensure successful product development and delivery.
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and refine the product roadmap.
  • Support the collection and analysis of customer feedback and usage data to inform product decisions.
  • Help create detailed documentation, including user stories, requirements, and specifications.
  • Participate in testing and validation to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or a related degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical concepts and user needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and customer-centric product development.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and product management principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Confluence, etc), or wireframing tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in or knowledge of Conversational tools.
  • Experience with user research, data analytics, or technical projects.
  • An eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
