We are looking for an experienced Senior/Lead Producer to help strategize, implement, schedule, and maintain specific features on a new immersive, open-world sandbox life-simulation Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game. We want an individual who can lead, own, and drive the production of multiple complex features while working with the Product Team on design and scope. This role will partner with QA, Engineering, Art, and other departments to ensure a quality product.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of design, product, engineering, and art resources on Core to ensure quality and timeliness on features
  • Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across a multi-disciplined team
  • Work with product leaders to schedule, test, and drive features to ensure timely delivery
  • Own kick-offs, schedules, tasking, bug tracking, and any follow-up requirements for developing product features
  • Have a strong understanding of the product goals for their produced features, ensuring alignment on deliverables across the development team
  • Work with product leads in understanding risk and resource needs for features
  • Facilitate day-to-day tasks and communication between game design, art, and engineering
  • Ensure the quality bar is hit and internal reviews are occurring at appropriate times
  • Help make informed decisions in conjunction with leads on development priorities and resources
  • Anticipate and proactively resolve issues and risks related to project scheduling, including (but not limited to) identifying roadblocks or bottlenecks that may impact the team from achieving their goals on time
  • Work with product leads to communicate development progress and updates to project stakeholders
  • Be a spokesperson for the consumer experience

Requirements

  • A minimum of 9+ years work experience in the development of high-quality online games, with at least 7+ years in a Production role
  • Having produced, shipped, and maintained multiple online PC games, ideally across multiple phases of game development, including prototype and pre-production
  • Familiarity with project management and development tools (Jira, Excel, Bugzilla, Microsoft Project)
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and other project methodologies
  • Experience with longer-term feature roadmap planning across multiple development milestones
  • Able to communicate effectively with design, art, product, and engineering

$100,000/year to $160,000/year

A reasonable estimate of the current US base salary range for this position is salary (the range listed above) + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within that range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skill sets, experience and training, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
