We are now looking to add a Senior Manager, Technical Content Manager to #TeamGreen based in the US, preferably in Denver, CO but are open to remote candidates.
About The Role
You will be responsible for guiding a specialized content team leveraging AI technology. You must be as passionate about high-quality digital content as you are about AI frameworks. You are up-to-date on all the generative tools available, and the strengths and weaknesses of each. You will be driving content performance across the buyer journey to efficiently advance prospects and customers to be aware, experience and get value from our products.
This role will be focused on trending topics and not just SEO. You will ideate, create, and publish a high volume of content each month with limited resources, and you will be responsible for editing and fact-checking each of them. You will hold the standard when it comes to content quality and will always put the reader first. You love to create a successful AI prompt, but you also love to craft a well-written sentence yourself. This position will be responsible for the performance of content and will use data and analytics to optimize the development, promotion and use of content across sales and marketing channels.
The ideal candidate is someone full of article ideas with a knack for writing headlines. You will work closely with other members of our technical subject matter experts for trending topics. Content marketing is not the sole responsibility of our content team - this role will collaborate across the company to leverage technical experts in Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to have them develop at scale valuable technical content to support our buyers journey. You have a high level of initiative and enjoy launching new projects in the absence of existing workflows.
What you will be doing;
Content Strategy and Creation
- Can build technical content that works for data engineers and developers
- Can scale programmatically and be multi-modal (e.g. written, video, visual)
- Is aligned to both Product Lead Growth (PLG) and Sales Lead Growth (SLG) motions, creating content that speaks to both buyers and users
- This position will be responsible for the performance of content and will use data and analytics to optimize the development, promotion, and use of content across sales and marketing channels to evolve content marketing strategies tailored to key personas.
- Building a content program that will take full advantage of both internal and external SMEs to rapidly develop high-quality content.
- Develop internally all forms of content, long and short forms, this will be blog articles, ebooks, and white papers.
- Build and maintain a content calendar and build strong cross-functional relationships to support the demand for content
- Content Promotion; use social channels to promote content, manage our monthly newsletter, and write guest blogs.
- Develop a keen understanding of our target audiences (Data Engineers, Data Analysts, etc) and key personas, and become a subject matter expert over time.
What we are looking for - Essential Skills
- 7 + years of experience developing marketing/sales content for technical B2B audiences such as Developers, Engineers, Infrastructure specialists
- Proven scale in content programs for SEO and thought leadership and Demand Generation.
- Proven content creator, and content developer with an eye for visual as well as written forms
- Excellent written skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Experience in GenAI tools such as ChatGPT and you must be as passionate about high-quality digital content as you are about AI frameworks and how to use them to scale the content program.
- You are up-to-date on all the generative tools available, and the strengths and weaknesses of each.
- Experienced in web tracking systems such as Google Analytics, Heap, or similar
At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is $116,000 - $170,000, but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
