Job Description

  • Monitor and support AI IaaS infrastructure, including GPU servers, storage, and networking.
  • Conduct first-level troubleshooting of InfiniBand networks, identifying connectivity or performance issues.
  • Maintain and update infrastructure inventory, cabling, and IPAM data using NetBox.
  • Support InfiniBand fabric operations and troubleshooting using UFM, and Ethernet network configuration and validation leveraging Verity.
  • Perform initial triage of alerts across hardware, networking, and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of bare metal nodes, including provisioning, reprovisioning, validation, and burn-in testing.
  • Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident response and escalation.
  • Validate hardware health (GPUs, NICs, disks, memory, etc.) and perform basic diagnostics.
  • Escalate complex issues to L2 with clear logs, diagnostics, and impact assessment.
  • Assist with routine maintenance, patching, and validation of nodes and clusters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, shift handovers, and operational records.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in datacenter operations, IT support, or infrastructure roles.
  • Basic Linux administration skills.
  • Familiarity with bare metal server environments and provisioning concepts.
  • Awareness of InfiniBand or high-performance networking technologies.
  • Basic understanding of datacenter networking and hardware components.
  • Exposure to NetBox (IPAM/DCIM) and infrastructure source-of-truth concepts.
  • Familiarity with provisioning or automation platforms such as Verity.
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to follow structured processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to NVIDIA GPU-based systems or accelerated computing environments.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
  • Awareness of OpenStack (optional, not required).

  • Accurate and efficient provisioning of bare metal nodes.
  • Fast and effective first-level troubleshooting and escalation.
  • High data accuracy in NetBox and operational systems.
  • Strong operational discipline and continuous technical growth.
