What You Will Do

Moveworks is seeking a People Ops Coordinator that will join a growing People Team that sits at the center of employee experience. Our mission is to reduce friction at work and always add value, so Movesters can do the most meaningful work of their careers. This position will offer a rare opportunity to play an integral role in building and scaling the function as we continue to grow globally.

Your core duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Assist in coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and facilitating new hire paperwork. Manage offboarding procedures, including offboarding documentation.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other databases. Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, providing timely and effective support.
  • Employee Engagement: Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, such as team building events, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives. Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee morale and satisfaction.
  • Policy Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations by staying updated on relevant legislation and assisting in policy development and implementation.
  • Data Analysis: Compile and analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and insights that inform decision-making and improve HR processes. Prepare regular reports for management review.
  • General Support: Provide general administrative support to Founders and the People Operations team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and assisting with special projects as needed.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about HR and eager to contribute to the success of the company. You will report to our Manager of People Operations. This role requires 5 days a week in our Mountain View HQ Office. You will also be expected to travel from (up to 10% a year) to our other office locations: Austin, New York, Toronto, and Bangalore.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Previous internship or entry-level experience in HR or administrative roles preferred

Compensation Range: $75,000 - 106,000

*Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
Ultimately, in determining pay, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, the role’s scope and complexity, the candidate’s experience and expertise, and other factors.
