We're looking for talented designers with diverse specialties, backgrounds, and perspectives to join our highly skilled Product Design team. This is an opportunity for a true crafts-person that is passionate about defining seamless workflow experiences that customers love to use in their work everyday.
As a Senior Product Designer at Outreach, you'll work on our innovative sales platform tools for our industry-leading sales execution platform powered by AI, for almost 6000 customers like Dropbox, Adobe, Pendo, Snowflake, Zoom, Zendesk, and many more. Specifically, you’ll be solving complex challenges for Outreach administrators at those companies and allowing them to enable better experiences for their organizations through tools and data.

Your Daily Adventures

  • Work with a highly adept team of Product, Engineering, and Marketing partners to advance core product capabilities and bring new insights that revolutionize how sales organizations conduct business
  • Define workflows that make complex ideas simple for administrators who are enabling Outreach on behalf of their company
  • Craft industry-leading system architectures, user flows, scalable interaction models, workflows, and highly polished UI visuals
  • Partner closely with other designers to collaborate and iterate on solutions, and expand our design system patterns
  • Present well-considered design strategies, concepts and prototypes, and communicate the underlying rationale with confidence to your team and company leadership
  • Balance customer needs, business goals, and technical considerations to ship win-win product enhancements that deliver measurable impact
  • Partner with our Product Managers to conduct customer interviews, gather qualitative and quantitative insights to support your design work, and run usability studies to evaluate proposed solutions
  • Become an expert in how sales professionals, teams, and organizations engage their customers with Outreach to exponentially accelerate sales workflows
  • Help us co-create a vibrant inclusive design culture co-created by team members from various geographies (incl. US, CZ, IN) and backgrounds, focused on mutual support and continuous improvement

Basic Requirements

  • Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Have a bachelor’s (or equivalent degree) in Design, HCI or equivalent professional experience in design
  • Have 6+ years of combined experience in Product Design, design systems, and interaction design
  • Have an exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong visual design sensibilities and experience creating design concepts, customer journeys, and specifying interaction details that solve complex customer problems
  • Are experienced at leading design for a major feature area or vertical and are confident bringing a strong and informed design point of view to the product team
  • Are skilled in presenting and explaining your work, process, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and proactively seek feedback to deliver world class design
  • Skillfully gauge process and concept fidelity for proposed solutions to meet customer objectives. Including: early vision, conceptual work, information architecture, low fidelity wireframes / prototypes, detailed visual design, and design specifications
  • Are enthusiastic working within agile teams where collaboration and idea generation are part of the rhythm
  • Have experience participating in and driving UX research activities
  • Are a systems thinker and are able to utilize, curate, and extend shared patterns and behaviors.
  • Are passionate about the details and are excited to keep pushing your work until it is pixel-perfect and world class
  • Are uncompromisingly service-minded –and anticipate the needs of customers and colleagues with empathy

The annual base salary range for this role is $130,000-$180,000 USD. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
