What you'll do
- Manage the day to day technical/engineering operations of Overtime’s leagues and OTE Arena: production control room, studio, LED displays, audio systems, IPTV system and all related production and technology equipment.
- Own and manage the care, maintenance, and repair of all production equipment to ensure the highest possible production standards.
- Support the daily operations and management of Overtime’s cloud-based MAM; Experience with Iconik is a plus.
- Assist with technical planning for all of Overtime’s leagues from season to season.
- Lead and manage the technical side of new equipment installation or updates; both internally or through our integration partner and vendors.
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and create efficiencies across all areas of the production process for Overtime.
- Contribute ideas for creative and technical innovations to improve our productions and bring our fans closer to the game.
- Play an integral role in the growth and development of technology/production at Overtime.
Who you are
- 7+ years of technical/engineering experience with a deep understanding and knowledge of television and venue production equipment.
- Possess intimate knowledge of control room engineering equipment: router, frame syncs, patch bays, video encoders/decoders, audio, comms, etc.
- Experience configuring and maintaining production related network infrastructure .
- Experience with remote productions using REMI techniques or mobile production units.
- Possess strong knowledge of broadcast transmission techniques: IP transport (BitFire), satellite, bonded cellular (TVU, LiveU), social media streaming, etc.
- You have a deep network of vendors and contractors who could be tapped as resources for Overtime productions.
- You’re comfortable wearing many hats and bouncing between different projects from minute-to-minute.
- You have extensive knowledge of the media industry and are always on top of technology, new platforms, key partnerships, etc.
- You have a positive attitude and know how to foster a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- You have incredible attention-to-detail and don’t mind juggling 20+ projects at once.
- Ability to work irregular/weekend hours.
- Some travel required.
