What you’ll do
- Partner with Creative Producers and Post-Production team editing to help distribute content on all platforms for Overtime Elite
- Come up with ways to get our videos out in the most effective and efficient way possible
- Edit multiple videos and formats both unscripted and scripted from raw footage to final product
- Tell compelling stories in the OT voice
- Quickly assemble edits and implement notes from creatives and clients
- Edit highlights, social stories, features, mini doc’s, reality shows, podcasts, and brand partnerships
- Tell us how to innovate our content to separate us from the rest
- Edit live events in real time
- Come up with creative ideas to break news in real time
- Manage multiple projects with constantly shifting deadlines
- Obsess over optimizing content for best performance on social platforms - SnapChat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Instagram Story, IGTV & Tik Tok
Who you are
- 1+ years of experience in digital/social content
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Can edit short form and long-form content
- Super creative, never satisfied with the status quo
- Stays cool under pressure
- Fast af and the most digitally savvy person you know
- Reliable and available to work off hours and weekends
- Extremely organized and an expert with time management/project management
- Huge sports fan, especially basketball and football (soccer is a plus)
- Experience editing videos professionally, even in an internship on digital content preferably using SnapChat, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & Tik Tok
- Advanced knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Flexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables
- Experience with designing and laying in GFX/VFX is a huge plus
- Balance and grade color, and mix and level audio within Adobe Premiere
- Emphasis on organization and attention to detail
- Proactive, positive team player, able to help guide projects from ingest to delivery
- Experience shooting content with DSLR type cameras or the Sony FS5
