The Job
Own, the only FedRAMP option in the marketplace, is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Account Executive who can thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. is driven to hunt for new business and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Senior Account Executive, you will be part of our growing team who is responsible for converting State, Local and Education (SLED) prospects into paying customers through both inbound and outbound leads, while also managing existing customer accounts. Your mission will be to identify opportunities with prospects, current customers, and new clients to build long-term, profitable and impactful relationships. This role is quota-carrying, and as you achieve and surpass your goals, you will unlock a wealth of opportunities at Own for your career development. Many of our Account Executives have moved to management roles or become Enterprise Account Directors. You will be responsible for the following SLED Territories (TX, OK, LA, AR)
Your Day-to-Day Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be a hunter by nature and be responsible for generating new business in existing accounts and in new markets. You will use your skills to develop new opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting.
- Proactively develop and manage key customer stakeholder relationships to establish a trusted advisor role across a portfolio of enterprise SLED level accounts
- Map out the decision-making process of each prospect in order to optimize conversions at each stage.
- Work with Own Partner and Channel resources in your territory.
- Maintain awareness and status of all essential territory contractual obligations
- Host product demonstrations to set Own apart from other solutions (onsite/remote)
- Cross-functionally work with Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Engineering to provide critical customer feedback loops that influence product roadmap to improve overall customer experience.
Your Work Experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a quota carrying role preferably in the SaaS and/or PaaS space but not required.
- Experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding quota
- Experience working with reseller/ VAR partners and maintaining key relationships
- Experience in working with SI’s (System Integrators) in designated territory - bonus if they focus on a Salesforce or ServiceNow practice.
- Enterprise sales experience with a “rolodex” of decision makers in State, Local & Higher Education accounts preferred
- Experience selling “platform” that has multiple offerings within different ecosystems
- Highly analytical data driven and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Important Details
This is a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate will work out of Dallas, Texas to maximize collaboration and interaction with their customers and business. Own is a global team, and as we’re looking for top-talent, for the right candidate there may be an opportunity to work remotely in the following states: TX, OK, LA, OR Travel may be required (50%).
