The Job

As the Workplace Experience Coordinator you will be the face of Own’s employee experience. You will embody our culture and be passionate about our employees safety and well-being. You are detail oriented, and will be involved in the day-to-day operations, facilities, and events that make our office an inspiring place to work.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Ensure the office is maintained to the exceptional standard expected for a wildly successful SaaS company
  • Ensure the office is fully stocked at all times. This includes managing deliveries, stocking food/beverages, and replenishing office supplies.
  • Ensure cleaning protocols are being followed and direct cleaning crew as needed
  • Run the front desk; answering the phone, touring guests, and handling employee/guest/vendor inquiries.
  • Helps to plan and aid the execution of on-premise events for employees and clients as directed
  • Manage general shipments going to our various global locations in conjunction with onsite points of contact.
  • Liaise and manage travel arrangements for Own employees, clients, and candidates visiting the New Jersey HQ
  • Manage, order and take inventory of all supplies for the facility
  • Assist the team with ad hoc projects on an as needed basis

Your Work Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing administrative/secretarial support in a professional office environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A “can do” positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to anticipate issues
  • Willing to tackle any job: You have to be willing to own the small tasks (emptying the dishwasher, restocking inventory, office space cleanup, etc.) while understanding the impact these tasks contribute to Own
  • Obsessed with details: With so much going on, you need to be hyper-focused on the details and extremely organized to ensure that our office functions efficiently and nothing slips through the cracks
  • Experience working at startup environments that requires hands on management, flexibility and ability to wear “multiple hats” preferred
  • High level of professionalism, especially in the face of challenging situations
  • Effective communicator both verbal and written

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
