The Job

Own is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Customer Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing strategies that drive customer expansion, retention, and revenue growth. This role involves crafting targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives that encourage existing customers to adopt additional products, features, or services, maximizing their value and deepening their relationship with the company.

This is a cross-functional role that requires you to partner closely with the integrated campaigns team and subject matter experts to conceptualize the campaigns and work across the marketing organization to create personalized experiences that address customer needs, communicate value, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Develop and execute customer marketing programs and campaigns aimed at driving expansion and upsell opportunities among our existing customer base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, product management, and marketing to develop targeted messaging, offers, and promotions for different customer segments.
  • Implement automated email marketing campaigns, in-product messaging, and nurture programs to engage and educate customers throughout their lifecycle.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and KPIs related to customer expansion and retention, and provide regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the account management team to identify expansion opportunities, develop account plans, and coordinate marketing efforts to support account growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, and incorporate insights into customer marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience across various channels, and work as an advocate for our customers internally.

Your Work Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in customer marketing, growth marketing or similar function, minimum of 1-2 years in expansion and cross-sell.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer upsell and cross sell pipeline.
  • Experience partnering closely with marketing, sales and customer success teams.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, communication, time management, and relationship building skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, specifically with building campaigns and reports; Gainsight for customer segmentation and communication; experience using 6Sense a nice to have.

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
