Team Description

As Pendo continues to rapidly grow, our overall Platform and Guides capabilities are critical for the success of our customers and Pendo. As the VP of Product, you will drive strategy and execution in our Engage product, ensuring we are best of class in each category. You will manage and grow a team of Product Managers, focusing on a culture of innovation and collaboration where employees thrive. You thrive in fast moving environments, are maniacally focused on customers, and are constantly curious about trends in the industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategy and business goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and customer analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Lead the product management team, including recruiting, hiring, and developing top talent.
  • Prioritize features, define product requirements, and create a clear product roadmap with milestones.
  • Foster strong collaboration across departments (engineering, marketing, sales) to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and track progress towards goals.
  • Communicate product decisions effectively to all stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and engineers.
  • Champion the customer voice and ensure the customer perspective is integrated throughout the product development process.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and launching innovative products.
  • Strong understanding of market research, user experience (UX) principles, and product strategy development.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:

Raleigh, NC - USD $260,000 - $275,000

New York City, NY - USD $280,000 - USD $300,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
