What You’ll be Doing:
The Production Cook plays an integral role at Sunbasket. Our Cooks assists the Fresh and Ready Team in the assembly and preparation of our oven or microwave ready meals in large volume. The Cook will be responsible for adhering to food recipes that will include kettle and skillet cooking, blanching, steaming, and roasting.
As a Production Cook, you’ll also be required to complete the necessary paperwork in relation to quality. This role requires you to understand the basics of food handling and food safety, the ability to add, subtract, understand units of measurement and read and fully understand manuals and recipes in English. As a Cook, you’ve also have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as a passion for delicious healthy foods with high standards of quality and food safety.
Schedule & Pay:
- Starting at 17.50/hr
- Approximately 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities
- Schedules vary by department, but most require weekend work, 6AM-2:30PM
