As a Senior Visualization Engineer, you'll work closely with other engineers, PM's, and designers to build impactful applications that our customers will love.
What you'll do
- Develop our Visualization module that powers the Visual Explorer
- Collaborate with a small cross-functional team of Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to build, test, and ship performant and maintainable code
- Define and maintain development practices that let us move fast with quality
- Act as a strong leader, mentor and be mentored by other engineers
- Ready to take initiatives and don't wait for someone to ask you to solve it
- Come up with viable solutions for various engineering challenges
What you bring:
- 5yrs and above experience in writing and maintaining world-class products & experiences
- Strong programming fundamentals, critical thinking and debugging abilities
- Professional understanding in Javascript/TypeScript and related technologies
- Professional experience in Data Visualization Domain
- Having a good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience in Web Technologies like Canvas, SVG
- Good understanding of web application performance in browsers
- A desire to continually improve and have a positive attitude.
Bonus points
- Familiarity with Visualization Libraries like D3, Vega
- Good UX and design sensibilities
- Experience in Angular Framework Experience with testing frameworks like jest, cypress
- Experience in Rust and WebAssembly
- Experience in WebGL
