We, at ThoughtSpot, are looking for a Senior SDET. You will build and work with a highly skilled customer experience team whose mission is to alleviate the experience of all ThoughtSpot customers across its products and offerings.
This team works with all product, engineering and customer teams across ThoughtSpot, It is responsible for enhancing customer experience by building automation frameworks and tools, defining right quality processes and gates by acting as an owner for QA practices at Thoughtspot.
Responsibilities:
Able to understand the product and write extensive test scenarios. Find issues which are overlapping various services. Able to automate UI workflows as well as API workflow. Analyse customer-reported defects and issues, identifying trends and patterns to inform future testing and development efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find gaps in our system and bridge those gaps. Review the test plans of peers and add value to it.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4-8 years of experience in testing, UI Automation, API automation and scripting.
Good understanding of system design.
Prior experience towards building effective test strategies and tests which are more lean in nature and ability to find critical bugs using automation testing.
Ability to Design and maintain CI/CD jenkins pipelines and experience with groovy script.
Good Debugging skills involving distributed systems, preferably on Linux.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Hands on knowledge on Java, BDD, cucumber
Manual API testing tools like Postman
