About the role:

ThoughtSpot is seeking a talented Senior ML and LLM Engineer to join one of our newly formed teams in Bengaluru, India. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative machine learning and large language model solutions to improve the various experiences for ThoughtSpot users and help them achieve their goal.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning algorithms and LLM models to enhance search accuracy, relevance, and ranking.

  • Work closely with search engineers and data scientists to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can be used to improve search functionality.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the latest advancements in machine learning and LLM research.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest search best practices and user experience trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design) to bring search solutions to life.

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of search algorithms and make improvements as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in machine learning algorithm design and development.

  • Extensive experience with building and deploying large language models (LLMs).

  • Proven ability to work effectively with large datasets and distributed computing systems.

  • Strong understanding of search ranking algorithms and information retrieval techniques.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent debugging and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team-based environment.

  • A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of search technology.
