About the Role:

As a Member of Technical Staff (MTS 3), you will work across the frontend stack—building elegant front-end experiences that power intelligent analytics products. You will contribute to a platform that brings search, AI, and analytics together, enabling users to interact with data seamlessly and at scale.
What You’ll Do:
Design, implement, and extend features across the front-end, working end-to-end from API/service layer through UI.
Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to convert product vision into reliable, high-impact engineering solutions.
Build robust, scalable services including REST/GraphQL APIs, business logic, data persistence, caching, microservices, and event pipelines.
Develop rich, responsive UI interfaces using modern frameworks and front-end tools.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the Frontend stack—queries, memory usage, concurrency, caching, and throughput.
Ensure strong code quality, testing, observability, and deployment hygiene.
Participate in design discussions and contribute to the evolution of the platform.
What You Bring:
1+ years of proven frontend engineering Work experience along with Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science
Strong skills with modern front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
Familiarity with Node.js is required
Familiarity of databases (SQL/NoSQL), query optimisation, and schema design.
Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals, microservices, message queues and async workflows.
Working knowledge of backend languages (Java, Go, Python) and API development is a huge plus
Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and Linux environments.
Strong problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and effective communication skills.

Comfortably and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.
Hands-on experience to leverage AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to increase productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve work quality.
Speak to the experience of using AI for research, content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.
Write effective prompts to get the most accurate and creative results from AI tools.

Adaptability to quickly learn and implement new, emerging AI technologies
Critical thinking to know when to identify when AI should be used versus when human judgement is necessary

Hybrid Work at ThoughtSpot
This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in India - Hyderabad.Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and peer learning with the flexibility needed by individuals and teams.
