ThoughtSpot empowers the world's most innovative companies with an Agentic Analytics Platform designed for every user to confidently make data-driven decisions and deliver impactful business outcomes. Our mission is to build a fact-driven world by enabling everyone to explore data, ask questions, and uncover insights faster — transforming decision-making across industries.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help the global Product Marketing team take ThoughtSpot's next wave of agentic offerings from concept to market. In this role, you’ll operate at the frontier of our product strategy and own the full go-to-market lifecycle for emerging products, shaping how new capabilities reach buyers and creating the narratives, content, and sales motions that turn early innovation into revenue.

This role is ideal for a product marketer who thrives in ambiguity, builds from zero, and is genuinely excited about the future of AI and agentic workflows. You should be as comfortable writing a blog post or presenting to a beta customer as you are defining an ICP or building a full-funnel content plan — all while moving fast enough to keep pace with a product team that's shipping constantly.

Your key performance indicators will include new product adoption and activation, pipeline generated from new product motions, competitive win rates, and successful transitions from early-stage launches to scalable go-to-market programs. This role requires building strong cross-functional relationships with teams including product management, sales, sales engineering, and the broader marketing team to create long-term value for our customers and the business.

Locations: This role can be based from either our Mountain View, CA office, or our Chicago, IL office.

You are:

  • Experienced in B2B SaaS product marketing, with demonstrated experience taking a product from zero to market in both commercial and enterprise segments

  • A builder, not an optimizer. You've created messaging, positioning, and GTM strategies where none existed before

  • Deeply curious about the AI landscape, with a pulse on how LLMs, agents, and emerging capabilities are reshaping both the BI and analytics space, and the day-to-day work of a marketer

  • Adaptable, with the ability to shift focus as products and priorities evolve

  • A self-starter who thrives when the playbook hasn't been written yet

What You’ll Own

Product Partnership

  • Partner closely with product teams building new products — supporting with customer and market research & insights, and providing strategic recommendations to inform new product roadmap and capabilities

  • Shape how new capabilities are packaged and positioned before they reach the market

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Define the ICP, target market, and positioning for new products.

  • Build the go-to-market strategy from scratch — segmentation, messaging, pricing input, competitive framing, and launch sequencing.

  • Determine how new products fit into ThoughtSpot’s existing portfolio and narrative.

  • Work with product teams on beta programs and early-stage customer engagement.

  • Create full-funnel content plans for new products — from awareness through conversion.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Write blogs, create demo videos, build sales decks, and produce campaign content directly.

  • Craft compelling narratives that make complex, early-stage products feel tangible and urgent to buyers.

  • Develop sales enablement materials for new products – first-call decks, objection handling, competitive context.

  • Build the narrative for how ThoughtSpot is shaping the agentic future of analytics.

Market Development

  • Identify and validate new market segments for emerging products.

  • Run experiments to test messaging and channels

  • Partner with Sales on early deal support for new products

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–10 years in product marketing, with demonstrated experience taking a product from zero to market (not just iterating on established products)

  • Proven track record of building positioning, messaging, and GTM strategies where none existed before

  • Demonstrated success in content creation across formats — video scripts, long-form assets, social copy, web pages.

  • Experienced at building strong working relationships with product, sales, and engineering teams and influencing without authority

  • Comfortable tying marketing efforts back to business outcomes — pipeline, adoption, competitive win rates, and expansion

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong opinions about where AI and agentic workflows are headed. You should be genuinely excited about this space, not just marketing it.

In California, the estimated annual salary range for this role is $135k – $180k per year.

Actual compensation may vary and will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location of the selected candidate.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits.
