UX Researcher (f/m/d)

We are looking for an ambitious UX Researcher to join our team at Adverity. You’ll play a key role in proactively reinventing the user experience of our complex, data-driven web applications for marketing professionals.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in our Headquarters in Vienna, or within a commutable distance where you can visit our office 2-3 days a month.
Some of the things you'll work on:
In the first two-three months:
- Begin your Adverity journey with a flexible onboarding process designed to help you to get to know our platform, workflows, tools and teams. We’ll provide you with a buddy to be by your side for this initial stage.
After two-three months:
- After a few months of learning about and conducting research across the entire product, you will be dedicated to one of the main product areas, with the possibility of switching areas after a longer period.
- Initiate, coordinate, and carry out appropriate end-to-end, mixed-methods research projects, both evaluative and generative, with a high degree of initiative and independence.
- Improve or set up the appropriate research operations to enable faster and more frequent research, with a focus on introducing more continuous and automated research methods into our toolkit.
- Run workshops to extract knowledge from other teams (customer service, product management, sales, etc.), share your own research findings, and help brainstorm solutions.
- Be creative in proposing ways to increase exposure to user research within the company, as well as attracting research participants and keeping them active.
We’re excited if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in a UX Research role, with a strong focus on qualitative methods (concept and usability testing, interviews, workshops), and some experience with quantitative methods (especially surveys, but also analytics).
- Openness to learning a very technical platform, with complex user journeys and mental models.
- Strong initiative and excellent analytical skills, with a focus on making research happen quickly and delivering value over perfection, while seeing the big picture and summarising findings in an accessible, actionable way.
- Confidence and empathy for building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, both to strengthen UXR’s position in relation to other departments and to evangelise UXR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as this is our primary business language.
