The Opportunity
Simpplr is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for its market leading product that is defining the way companies engage and connect with their employees. TPM will be working with multiple product teams based out of India/US/UK offices. While Scrum is practiced assiduously today, the team has the appetite to grow further & take it to the next level by adopting industry's best practices. This is a hands-on role!

Your Job Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Build a high performing team by employing appropriate coaching and development techniques on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products. Achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Facilitate sprints & all scrum ceremonies
- Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand
- Remove any impediments that would prevent the team from achieving its sprint goals and help achieve shippable product
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Keep stakeholders up to date on KPIs & the progress of the Sprint
- Tracks and monitor the delivery of commitments for release from assigned teams
- Drive new initiatives, process improvements toward consistent delivery of the working product.
Your Skillset
What makes you a great fit for the team:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Scrum Specialist or Agile Coach
- Preferred Certifications - CSM, PSM, SAFe or PMI-ACP or equivalent
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Should have prior hands-on coding experience in building and debugging applications.
- Should have at least 2 years of experience of working in a microservices environment.
- Decent understanding of sql concepts and basics of database design. Should be able to write simple SQL queries on data.
- Decent understanding of message brokers such as SQS, Kafka, Kinesis etc.
- Well acquainted with practical & on-ground challenges of scaling teams with Agile & Scrum best practices in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Jira (reports, dashboards, filters) is a must
- Understanding of best practices for full software development life cycle, including but not limited to planning, requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, automation, issue and risk mitigation, and status reporting
- Strong passion for data-driven decision making
- Good at problem solving and conflict resolution
- Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in highly ambiguous fast-paced environment
We'd especially love to hear from you if you have:
- Prior experience in a technical role leading engineering team
- Experience with building SAAS based products over the Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Experience working with product-based organizations
- Basic understanding of CI/CD is desirable
- Good understanding of API design best practices. Familiarity with GraphQL would be plus
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or EE with technical savviness
