💼 What You’ll Do

We’re on the hunt for an energetic Senior Accounting Lead to join our growing team! Reporting to the General Manager of Splashtop BV and the Director of Corporate Accounting in the US, you’ll be a key player in our financial operations. Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Operational Excellence: Own day-to-day accounting activities and always be on the lookout for ways to make things better and faster.
• Month-End Mastery: Manage all aspects of month-end close procedures, ensuring our financials are spot-on.
• Support & Collaboration: Partner with our Sales team to resolve billing inquiries, ensuring smooth revenue processes.
• Payroll Wizardry: Liaise with external service providers to ensure payroll is processed like clockwork.
• Tax Compliance Pro: Prepare and file quarterly sales and VAT tax returns, adhering to Dutch GAAP regulations.
• Revenue Recognition: Oversee monthly amortization of deferred revenue and ensure compliance with ASC 606.
• Merchant Reconciliation: Manage accounting for online sales and payment reconciliations.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline accounting processes, driving efficiency and accuracy.
• Communication Champion: Be the bridge between accounting and other departments for seamless interactions.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to our financial strategy and support our growth ambitions.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with all the rules.

👩‍💼 Who You Are:

• You’ve got 5+ years of accounting experience under your belt, ideally with some time spent in a Big 4 firm.
• You’re a pro with Dutch GAAP, VAT tax regulations, and have a solid understanding of US GAAP.
• SaaS revenue accounting? You've got it covered.
• NetSuite experience? Even better.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solving ninja with a knack for working independently.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a diligent work ethic.
