Job description

Splashtop is seeking a driven, hardworking, and adaptable Account Manager who will join our growing Customer Success Team. The ideal candidate is customer-centric and understands how Customer Success can drive growth.

What will you do in this role?

As an Account Manager you will plan and execute the strategy to cultivate regional territory, renew customers’ accounts, drive revenue growth, and expand Splashtop’s footprint. You are a systematic hunter who uses the latest revenue operations practices and technologies to identify expansion opportunities. You will receive a territory book of business focused on our largest accounts by revenue and or employee size, broken down by our key industries, Education, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare, Government, and others.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Identify and assist customers in Onboarding or other stages in the customer lifecycle who need assistance deploying or adopting
  • Become an expert in translating the value of secure remote access and support, endpoint management, and endpoint security
  • Contribute to overall company retention goals by retaining and growing pipeline and portfolio via cross-sell opportunities and upsells. Be accountable for providing weekly report into your activities and accurate forecasts
  • Proactively drive product adoption and long-term usage with your customers, establishing a cadence for customer engagement
  • Partner with our Product and Sales teams to relay customer needs, experience, areas for improvement
  • Be the voice of the customer by relaying key needs, use cases, feature requests, etc. that can help shape the product roadmap and benefit our customer's long term

Do you have what it takes? Requirements:

Ideal candidate, possesses experience in 3 of the 4 experiences below (all 4 is a bonus):

  1. Prior SaaS experience as an AE or AM selling to IT, Network, or Security teams
  2. RMM, MDM, or Security (network, data, or compliance) experience
  3. Large organization (over 2000 emp) Sales experience, in a hunting role
  4. SLED experience, have worked in or with Schools or Local Government

Other requirements

  1. 2+ years of Account Management experience in the Saas account Manager owning and expanding a book of business
  2. Proven record of expanding small footprint deals into larger 6 figure deals
  3. Demonstrated early-stage growth firm sales success
  4. Thrive on sustaining high activity levels across all channels, including demonstrated success with multi-threaded tailored outreach using the latest rev-ops tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo and others.
  5. Security and/or Endpoint Management Domain Experience
  6. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly effectively at all levels of the organization, including executives and C-level in the mid-market sized organizations.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills plus the ability to build professional rapport quickly by meetings (phone) with all levels of stakeholders.
  8. You are a team player with a record of accomplishment of excelling in fast-growing environment and achieving goals.
  9. Highly organized and customer centric
  10. Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment focusing on accuracy and timeliness.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
